April 2018

Celebrating Oviya's sixth birthday!

The Easter Bunny visited our house!

Following the footprints!

The sneaky Easter Bunny hid eggs all over the living room!

Excited about the Hershey kisses and coins in the eggs!

Cool dude headed to Easter Sunday at church!

Max "stole" my phone twice and I found a photo of Lion and a photo of himself later on!

Celebrating Abigail's fifth birthday! These two are best friends. Abigail almost always has a serious face which makes for interesting photos. Haha

Go Dodgers!

Art show! Max's painting is on the bottom row.

Max has developed a real interest in gymnastics recently, so we checked a book out of the library. One section showed several partner poses, so he and Ben tried some out!

We drew the line when it came to balancing upside down while Ben held Max's head. ;-)

Ben and I worked on a puzzle (that is now complete!) in the evenings, and every so often Max liked to stop by to try and fit a couple pieces.

Learning how to tie!

March 2018

Better late than never! :-)

We received a baggie of confetti and had a "confetti dance party" for almost an hour. By the end Max was swimming in the confetti (and snuggling the confetti?!).

On St. Patrick's Day Max said, "I am going to wear the most green thing in this house!" and proceeded to put on his dragon costume from Halloween.

Ponytail by request!

Baseball season has started!

Our library underwent a major renovation and we had a blast attending the grand re-opening festivities.

Our neighborhood "Eggstravaganza" had baby animals for the kids to pet, snack, and an egg hunt!

Palm Sunday! Max had fun waving his palm with the other kids.

It was cold and rainy the day of the church egg hunt, so they got creative and "hid" the eggs in classrooms!

We were selling this pop-up play tent at the kids consignment sale, but I had to put it in the storage case all folded up. Ben was going to take a photo of it that I could tape to the storage case (to help it sell better) and Max jumped in and wanted to show how fun it is! Haha When we printed the photo (with more of the living room cropped out) it really looked like it belonged on the package.

Max sang with the kids choir this spring! Technically it's for kindergarten on up, but since Max has a September birthday (aka an "older five") they let him join in. Here's a few clips from the rehearsal and performance!
