Max headed back to school this month!
This is how Max kept himself occupied while Ben and I looked at some home improvement stuff at Lowe's and Home Depot! Good thing he likes to read! We were actually able to stand and talk without one of us chasing a kid and trying to make sure he doesn't pull anything down on his head. Haha
Playdate with Max's best friend, Kai! The boys are at the top of the spiderweb climbing thing.
Learning how to water ski!
Tubing with Dad
Proud Mommy and brave, happy boy who tried skiing for the first time and got up for a few seconds! (Windy boat ride = crazy mom hair)
Grammie came to visit and got a paper airplane making lesson!
Max is doing a baseball player development program at a church nearby this fall (same place we were going to play last spring before the season was cancelled). Max is smiling under that mask! (We thought masks were required for the kids, but only a couple wore them and Max got hot and took his off after literally nine minutes. Haha The kids are pretty spread out, everyone is outside, and the coaches/adults all wear masks.)
Max asked me to take his photo in this pose. He thought it made him "look like a baseball player." :-)
Portrait of Grandpa. :-)
Max and I saw a small black snake (the friendly kind) poke its head out of some ground covering near our front door. It slithered back under the covering when we got close, so Max put a fake plastic snake (the green circle in the photo - it coils up) on the sidewalk to try and lure him back out. Then, he got a chair and a snack and watched from the door. Haha (Of note, the snake peeked it's head out again a few hours later, but I'm not so sure it was the plastic snake was the reason. ;-) )
