June 2020

Whoops! I just realized I forgot to share photos of our June adventures! Without further adieu... your monthly dose of out of order photos of our family adventures. :-)

Our neighbor got some baby chicks that Max enjoyed meeting and cuddling!

Playdate and hike with Max's friend Yajur and his family! The boys have been friends since they were three years old. :-)

The boys with Yajur's younger brother Vidur who was all about trying to keep up with the big kids.

Hiking!

Murari (Yajur's dad) was taking a photo of me and Ben to show us a cool feature... I (clearly) didn't realize he was taking the photo and was talking to Soumya (Yajur's mom). Haha  The photo effects are cool, though!

Wrinkly tootsies after lots of swimming!

Playing with cousin Olivia

Mommy and Lucy getting a little snuggle time!

Go Georgia Tech!

Playing fun games with Lisa!

John and Lisa's dog Kirby passed away last month. We were glad to have one last chance to see him before he died! As you can tell in the photo, he was an old, old man. :-(  Lots of good memories playing with him in his younger years!

Cousins!

Running home in the rain after retrieving Daddy's surprise birthday cards from our neighbor's house!

All set up!

Excited to surprise Dad!

Max worked SO hard preparing for Ben's 50th birthday surprise, and he and I (Laura) made a list of 50 things we love about Ben, enjoy doing with him, memories, etc. Max wrote each number in bubble letters (bubble numbers?) on separate sheets of paper, and we both worked on transferring one of the "things we love" facts to each sheet. We taped the numbers going up the stairs and around the hallway, and the final paper instructed Ben to open Max's bedroom door. On the bed there was a gift bag full of cards from family and friends. He sure was surprised!

As we took down all the papers in the hallway, we stuck the tape to Max's forehead. He liked his "horn."  Haha

Max took a photo of us. :-)

Good thing we held on to the candle from Max's 5th birthday!

Max was really excited to watch the NASA / Space X shuttle launch. He made a rocket "chair" out of a box (note the flames taped to the sides!) and covered himself with a rocket blanket Grammie made when he was a baby.

Max even made a snack table with "rocket boosters" (the plastic cups filled with red pipe cleaners).

Big muscles!
