Hilton Head Island Family Vacation 2015

Max's broken arm aside, we had a really fun week at the beach with our friends! The house we rented was less than a five minute walk to the beach, so we were able to get in lots of time in the ocean and sand. Max didn't sleep very well on the trip, so one morning when he woke up really early we threw on clothes and ran to the beach to watch the sunrise. We even saw a pod of dolphins jumping in the ocean! It was really cool. 

 

Each family took turns cooking dinner, but we went out for a delicious meal on our last night. We also had fun going out to breakfast one morning, and went to an awesome playground (which poor Max couldn't enjoy too much because of his arm :-( ...) and out to lunch another day. There is a free trolley shuttle that drives around the part of the island where we were staying. Needless to say that was a HUGE hit for both kids. One day we even got on and just rode the loop with no where to go!
