"Mommy, my face is cold, too. I need your eye mask." (Puts mask over face and tried to continue playing iPad game even though he can't see!)
Way too much fun playing with the cardboard train my friend Alicia let him take home after her son's third birthday party. It's actually meant to be worn as a costume, but Max prefers to pretend he is the engine, and the costume is a train car he's pulling behind!
Hanging out at the park with a friend from school!
The kids wouldn't hold our hands to walk to the parking lot (me and Sophia's mom), so we made them hold each other's hand... cute!

A rainy family walk from December!
Playing in puddles with cousin Olivia over Christmas.
"There is rain on my belly!" (Also from Christmas)

Hanging out with his doggie shadow, Charlie, over Christmas.
Steve and Kirsten's newest addition, Natalia, arrived in early November. We've had a few short visits, but had finally a chance for a full morning of baby snuggles in mid-December when we gathered to celebrate Kirsten's birthday and Christmas with friends.
It was Max's first time holding a little baby, and he did great! Needless to say we are all smitten with this sweet little girl. (Natalia is about one month old in these photos)
Baby yawns!
Daddy and sisters!
So tiny! Hard to believe Max was once that small...
Major thanks to my Uncle Rich...um... Santa... for making a magical phone call to Max on Christmas Eve! The whole phone call lasted about ten minutes, but here's a little peek at the excitement!

Watching a Frosty the Snowman movie!
"Max, sit on the fireplace and we'll take your picture with the cookies you left for Santa."
"Okay, I will put one hand on the cookies and the other hand in the air. Cheeeeese!"
Trying Rudolph's carrot...
First Santa sighting of the season on Thanksgiving weekend... feeling a little shy!
Second Santa sighting at the neighborhood playground!
Dinosaurs attack the Christmas train...
Silly Rudolph...
Polar Express night at school! Max loved riding Mr. Mike's "train" down the hallway.
