Three Years as Mr. & Mrs.

Three years ago we became Mr. & Mrs. in front of a close group of family and friends in the beautiful North Georgia mountains. We didn't know where life would take us from that day, but it's been more fun than we ever could have imagined. Hanging out with your best friend day in and day out is pretty awesome.

We celebrated three years of wedded bliss with a night out in Atlanta while Walter and Denise kindly watched Max for the evening. They even sent us a few photos so we could see how much fun Max was having at their house!

We got half price tickets to the "Fried Pickle Variety Show" which was playing at the 14th Street Playhouse in Midtown. We later learned that it was their first performance ever...and it showed. To put it nicely, paying half price for tickets was still too much. :-)  Oh, well! At least we got a good story out of it!

 After the show we walked to a nearby restaurant called Tin Lizzy's Cantina. They have off-beat Mexican food (think buffalo chicken tacos and Asian tacos) that we started enjoying back in our dating days when I lived closer in to the city. The weather was perfect and we were able to snag a table out on the patio where we enjoyed live music and each other's company.

We did a bit more strolling around the city and then headed back to pick up our sleeping baby from Walter and Denise's house. 'Twas a fun evening!
