Here's a peek at Max's July adventures (in no particular order):
We visited a place called Tiny Towne where kids can drive cars on their own. We thought Max would LOVE going here, but it was a surprising lackluster experience. He went around the track once and was done! Check out his facial expression in the photo below. Fortunately the people there let us swap out some of our tickets and we went on a train ride and played a few arcade games.
Fun at the playground! Max has been working hard at learning to pump his legs on the swings.
Family hike up Sawnee Mountain! Ben and I have hiked up a number of times, but this was the first time Max hiked up on his own (his very, very first trip was in the baby backpack on Mother's Day when he was just eight months old!).
Great Grammie's birthday party!
We had fun meeting and playing with baby Manny who was visiting from New Hampshire. Manny's Dad is Laura's cousin, Luke! He is the second great grandchild in the Teal family.
First time making popcorn with the popcorn maker! Max thought it was really fun, but too loud. :-)
No, we will not rent overpriced fire truck stroller at the mall, but feel free to sit in it, kiddo!
Max is a helpful helper! Every night after dinner he puts his own dishes in the dishwasher, sweeps under the table (sometimes with assistance, and sometimes without), pushes in all the chairs, and turns off the kitchen lights.
Why have one popsicle when you can have two?
A quick meet-up with Grammie at Cracker Barrel in Cartersville, GA!
