Max's school put on a drive-through parade where we all drove through the parking lot and there were blow-ups, lights, and the staff and teachers were waving and cheering. It was so cute and Max loved it! At the end the kids all received chocolate milk and a cookie to take home. Here are two of Max's teachers - Ms. Hellavi and Ms. Sujatha.

Max and I have an annual tradition to go to Waffle House for breakfast (and sit at the counter!) before shopping for Daddy's Christmas gift. Since it's not the best time to go eat in a restaurant, I made our usual Waffle House order at home. Max liked his homemade Waffle House hat, too!
We had an opportunity to get together with our friends to celebrate Natalia and Kirsten's birthdays and Christmas. The kids are trying out a microscope that attaches to a laptop in this photo (examining taste buds, I believe).

Prior to Christmas, Ben asked Max what he wanted for Christmas. He told Ben he'd be happy with a rotten lemon. So, as a joke, we cut a lemon out of paper and wrapped it up. We had Max open his rotten lemon first! We all had a good laugh about it.
As usual, Santa left a note and bell in Max's room! He woke up a little after 5:00AM to ring the bell to wake us up to come get him for presents. Fun!
