November 2019

Max and I didn't have time to do the Home Depot workshop craft at the store this month, so we picked up the kit and made it at home! It was a bald eagle for Veteran's Day, which led to a great conversation with Max. He remembered learning that his friend Miles' dad is a veteran, so he wrote him a letter and gave the eagle to him! It was all his idea -- so proud of his generous heart.

Having fun riding his bike on a mountain bike course! (Videos at the end of this post)

Max's friend gave him a puzzle for his birthday. We had fun working on it as a family!

Hanging out with his buddy Kai (left) and his little brother Ren.

We went to the Winiarski's house to celebrate Denise's birthday and Max wore her roller skates on his hands!

Blanket rides with Steve-o!

Partied too hard...

Birthday girl!

Max and a few kids from his Cub Scout pack got to visit the fire station!

Max earned his Bobcat Rank at Scouts and there was a little ceremony to paint the kids' face. The kids also paint a white stripe on the parent's nose. (You can click here to read about the meaning of each of the colors.)

Granddaddy gave Max an early Christmas present of some GA Tech gear so he could wear it to the Tech game!

Hat over his heart during the National Anthem.

We decorated for Christmas! Max's annual photo of putting the star on the tree.

Skate park videos (what happened to our overly cautious child?!)
