Max requested Ben and Jerry's Half Baked ice cream instead of a cake for his actual birthday at home.
Cross country meet!
Grammie came to Max's cross country meet, then we went out for pizza to celebrate his birthday!

Max and his best friend from summer camp, Michael, wore matching shirts and we laughed because they exchanged birthday gifts with basically the same wrapping! (Their birthdays are a month apart!)
We had a blast a Great Wolf Lodge, and Max said it was even better than he imagined. The rooms were all camping themed, and they gave the kids free wolf ears!
The big attraction is the indoor water park. On the first day we played for at least three hours, and the second day we played for at least five hours. Lots of fun in the wave pool, water slides, splash areas, obstacle course, and family water slides when we rode in tubes. Not too many photos since it was a water based trip, but snapped a few!
They had lots of Halloween themed decor up which added to the fun!
The water park didn't open until mid-morning so we went out to breakfast and explored the downtown area of LaGrange, GA. We found a cute downtown square and a really nice park/playground.
Max attended the birthday party of another friend and got to play arcade games and do an indoor ropes course!

We have a tradition of taking a family photo at 7:04AM on Max's birthday - the actual moment he was born. Due to Max's new school start time and the commute, he was already going to be en route to school at 7:04 (we depart home by 6:45 to get to school) so we snapped a family photo before he left!
